High fat diet linked to prostate cancer
May 9th, 2008 Posted in prostate cancerA recent U.S. study at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston said that men who ate diets low in saturated fat after having the prostate removed to treat cancer had better survival rates.
Conclusions follow a survey involving 390 patients who underwent radical prostatectomy. All patients completed a food frequency questionnaire for the year prior to the diagnosis of prostate cancer. [ read full article ]
